Pune Neurosciences Trust and Research Society
Dr. Charudutt Apte, a renowned neurosurgeon, and his associates have helped hundreds of poor patients at
'Pune Institute of Neurology’ under the banner of ‘Pune Neurosciences Trust and Research Society’, by providing
high quality medical care at extremely low cost and on occasions absolutely free. To expand the scale and scope
of this mission and to get involvement and participation of Society, Samavedana was formed on April 1, 2003.
Samavedana is the first of its own kind of Non-Government Organization (NGO) in Maharashtra, giving financial assistance to poor and needy patients.
"Feel together, heal together" is the motto of Samavedana.
Our aim is to ensure that not a single poor patient is left untreated merely on account of lack of financial resources.
